Zerion is a pharmaceutical company enabling the development of novel drug products by improving the solubility and bioavailability of small molecule drugs. We aim to bring our first drug formulation to the market within 4-5 years and obtain regulatory acceptance of our whey protein as a novel pharmaceutical excipient. Time flies. In January 2024, we celebrated Zerion Pharma turning 5. Back in January 2019, the four founders worked at their own risk to get the company off the ground and it was not until May 2019 that we took the step to hire our first employee, funded by a public grant and early investor money. Since then, a lot has happened, and we are now a company with 12 employees of 9 nationalities and from 3 continents - we were born global from day one.
